Training
We provide free Naloxone training to community members, individuals, family members, community organizations, and local business owners interested in becoming a lifesaver. We believe that this is something that all could benefit from knowing about. Individuals struggling with opioid use disorder as well as other street drugs are at a higher risk for overdose since the emergence of fentanyl.
We are presently in an epidemic and those struggling with substance use need compassionate care by all members of the community. With drug overdoses remaining at an all-time high, and fentanyl being present more often than not, we are on the front lines ensuring people are aware of the free and accessible harm reduction products Naloxone and Fentanyl test strips. The education and training on Naloxone is crucial to combatting the rise in drug overdoses in our community. Our Project Coordinator is a community trainer and can train you, your family, your business, or organization on how to recognize an opioid overdose and how to reverse it using Naloxone.
This is a very important measure we, as community members, can take considering the situation we are currently in with the opioid epidemic. This epidemic doesn’t have to continue to claim lives. We can save a life and offer HOPE to the person as well as the possibility of recovery.
