VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
All of are volunteers at CCC, self-identifies as a person with substance abuse disorder or have family members in or seeking recovery and is willing to utilize their personal experience, knowledge, and insight to benefit the team and its clients.
Volunteers will work with recovery specialist or case mangers to help empower clients to identify goals that promote recovery, while providing the support necessary to accomplish them. A volunteer will be expected to work with a diverse population and must be sensitive to the culture, religion, language, age, gender, and sexual orientation of the population served.
The focus of the work will be helping individuals with substance abuse or co-occurring disorders to maintain and to take responsibility and actively participate in their own recovery.
Requirements

Must complete background Check

Must be at least 21

Must be at least 2 years in recovery from any substances

Complete volunteer Orientation and Training

Commitment 6 weeks

Have willingness to support recoveries many paths.
