ADVOCACY

BE AN ALLY. JOIN US!

Recovery from addiction can be a long road so come join with friends and family to build awareness, challenge societal stigma, and celebrate the role that recovery plays in improving treatment outcomes, lives of individuals, families, workplaces and communities.

We envision a community where all people can achieve sobriety, health, wellness and self sufficiency though support.

Continuum Care Center (CCC), is committed to speaking on behalf of individuals seeking or recovering from
substance use disorders.

  • CCC advocates for changing policies to improve cultural competency and provide culturally appropriate services.

  • CCC is particularly interested in system change and to push for policies, laws, or rules that impact individuals in recovery.

  • CCC seeks to influence policy, practices, and public opinion around addiction recovery and the solutions available to assist those in recovery.

  • CCC aims to advance the system of care in recovery to evolve in culturally competent ways and to include African Americans.

  • CCC also believes in self -advocacy. We empower individuals by providing them tools to advocate for themselves and find the resources they need to begin or strengthen their recovery journey.
